With the comment, “And then there was three,” the 33-year-old hitter shared a lovely photo of himself and his wife, Sarah Raheem, with the baby. Welcome, lovely girl, to the world. I’m very appreciative of your safe arrival and the fascinating trip that lies ahead.

Australia and New Zealand will play their opening Test match of the two-match series at Basin Reserve in Wellington on Thursday, February 29. Both sides place a great deal of importance on the series. The Blackcaps are leading the World Test Championship (WTC 2023–25 cycle) with three victories in four games, while Australia is in second place with six wins in ten games.

Australia enters the two-match series having just finished a drew series with the West Indies. The Australians had defeated the opposition by eight runs at The Gabba in Brisbane after winning the first Test of the series at the Adelaide Oval by ten wickets.

Conversely, New Zealand is feeling confident with their recent 2-0 victory at home against a weaker South African team. Daryl Mitchell’s comeback, who missed the three-match T20I series due to a foot injury, will give them hope.

Test team from New Zealand:

Devon Conway, Matt Henry, Scott Kuggeleijn, Tom Latham, Daryl Mitchell, Will O’Rourke, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Mitchell Santner, Neil Wagner, Kane Williamson, Will Young, and Tim Southee (c) are the players on the team.

Australia’s test team:
