An Interview with Shalin Peter: Serving Teams, Building Brands, and Fostering Growth

Interviewer: Hello. Today we are talking to Shalin Peter. He is a manager who works in public relations and marketing. Thank you for talking to us. You help businesses grow and reach many people. How did you start doing this?

Shalin Peter: Thank you for having me. I am just happy to help. I have always believed in building strategy for growth and providing effective market solution among many others. I focus on networking and liasoning with clients. My goal is simply to solve marketing challenges and create effective marketing solutions. It is truly a team effort.

Interviewer: You plan big events and work with fancy car shows and famous people. Can you tell me about that?

Shalin Peter: I have been very lucky to help with these fun events. It takes a lot of planning and cultivating strong media connections. I have helped organize vendor management and client liaison fashion shows, including one for a major German automobile manufacturer and a regional motor group. I also helped with celebrity hospitality and management for large-scale music festivals, and handled the planning and strategizing for major celebrity concerts. I just try to make sure everyone has a good time and things run smoothly.

Interviewer: You work all over the world, in places like Portugal, Spain, the UK, Sweden, and Australia. How do you help big brands get noticed?

Shalin Peter: I am very thankful for the chances I get. I work as a PR and marketing consultant across India, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, and Europe. I focus on providing extensive research and insights about the market, consumer, competition, and brand position. By understanding what people need, I try to help brands grow. For example, I have helped to plan and implement OOH media campaigns to reach many people, and I have helped create and curate events for the launch of a major retail and lifestyle mall. It is just about connecting good ideas with the right people.

Interviewer: You also work at a place that makes defense items. What do you do there? Shalin Peter: Yes, I am a General Manager there. The company was launched in 2018, and I have been associated with it since its early stages. I mainly help with liaisoning with the Central as well as State Government offices, particularly in the areas of firearms marking and physical security. My main job is just to ensure that our products adhere to stringent quality and safety measures.

Interviewer: I hear you also teach young women how to play football. They are in college. They do not win many games yet. Why do you teach them?

Shalin Peter: Yes, I am very lucky to coach a wonderful group of college girls in football. We haven’t won many tournaments yet, but that is perfectly fine. Most of them are just starting their journey in the game. I want to help them grow and nurture them over a period of time. My coaching style is not about providing instant results, but about helping people grow slowly and steadily.

Interviewer: That is very kind. Why did you choose to make a team just for girls?

Shalin Peter: I wanted to train an all-girls team because I truly believe women in sports is something that is needed. It is great for fitness, but it also builds awareness. It shows everyone that women can perform well in male-dominated fields. I am just so proud to support them and watch them learn.

Interviewer: You do so many different things. What are your goals for the future, and what are you looking forward to doing next?

Shalin Peter: I am perpetually looking to cultivate substantive growth and expand my operational footprint concurrently within the tactical defense manufacturing sector and the public relations industry. Candidly, while my professional trajectory continues to evolve, the foundational support and institutional backing I have received recently for my PR and marketing endeavors have unfortunately been decidedly lacking. Nevertheless, I have meticulously conditioned myself to interpret these circumstances not as insurmountable failures, but as invaluable pedagogical experiences. I remain steadfastly committed to forging ahead, continuously adapting my strategic methodologies, and maintaining an indefatigable,

forward-looking perspective rather than ruminating on past adversities or momentary setbacks.
